As with all things about bikes - ride with kids with care
I had my son on the back when he was 3 years old - no sissy bar and the way he slumped into my back finally told the story - he fell asleep!
One scary ride to get off the highway and get him into a bed for the rest of the afternoon - riding with one hand and the other behind my back to hold him on!
